About NSI
Imaging
The Neurospine Institute imaging department offers patients state of the art diagnostic digital X-Ray, C.A.T scan and high field MRI imaging modalities. Neurospine offers a ACR accredited short bore Siemens MRI that makes for a easy comfortable examination. Advanced pulse sequence software shortens scan times while still maintaining the high diagnostic power of a 1.5 tesla magnet. The imaging staff at Neuropsine Institute are all ARRT registered and Oregon board certified. The lead technologists have a combined 35 years of medical imaging experience and hold advanced certifications in MRI and Computed tomography.

The ACR accredited C.A.T scanner is also a Siemens that consists of a large 70 cm bore with a tilting gantry that offers comfort for patients of all sizes. The fast helical scanner quickly scans and reformats data into exquisite Multi-Planar and 3D images. The C.A.T. scanner is also capable utilizing 3D volume rendering techniques at its Wizard workstation.

The diagnostic imaging room is a Siemens Multix Pro with CR digital images. A wide variety of x-ray exams are offered due to the adjustable reciprocating vertical wall bucky, and a clean operating 12:1 ratio scatter reducing table bucky grid system. Neurospine also has a scoliosis package that can take a single x-ray of the entire spine in each of two planes greatly reducing exposure during scoliosis exams. All imaging can be sent to ordering providers in a dicom format via Nova Rad Pacs system, or patient and providers can obtain the images in CD format.
